From March to the end of June, most of the tours I lead are student groups. Kids just want to have fun. If they’re laughing, they’re listening. And they do absorb much knowledge from my wisdom.
Besides seeing all the sights in Manhattan, I always try to fit in whenever possible a trip to Coney Island, the world’s first great amusement park. We eat Nathan’s hot dogs, go on some rides, walk on the boardwalk, and dip our feet in the Atlantic Ocean.
To seal the deal, I take them to the best candy store in New York, Economy Candy. Located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, it’s an old time store stocked with candy from floor to ceiling.
